What does it mean to actually enter Yom Kippur?
Not just get through the fast. To arrive at the holiest day of the year with an open heart and your soul already facing the right direction.
On Sunday afternoon, hours before the fast begins, we’re gathering on the coast for a ceremony of song, reflection, and release. Together we will:
🎶 Sing. Live music woven through the entire ceremony, carried by
Pontea and
Danielle “TheGreatYouSheBe” Manon. You don’t need to know the words. We’ve got you.
📓 Reflect. Guided journaling and shares around the real questions of this season.
🌬️ Breathe. Guided breathwork to drop out of the head and into the heart.
🌊 Cleanse. A mikvah-style ocean dip to seal the ceremony and step into the new year fresh.
Song, stillness, breath, and the sea. One intention.
At its heart, this ceremony is about connection: to yourself and your own inner process, to the people in the room beside you, and to the Jewish heritage and traditions that have carried this day for thousands of years.
Whether you’ve done Yom Kippur your whole life or you’ve never quite known what to do with this day, this is your way in.
📍 We’ll gather at Bella Sareena in Solana Beach, steps from the ocean, then cross over to the water together for the closing dip.
What to bring: a journal and pen, a towel and a change of clothes, and a layer for after sunset.
🎟️ We’re keeping this one intimate: just 30 spots. Early Bird tickets are $36 through Saturday, September 13. Regular admission is $54 the week of the ceremony.
We’ll close with plenty of time to get home, eat well before the fast, and carry this energy into Kol Nidre.
G’mar chatima tova. We can’t wait to share this with you 🤍
