Welcome to Coastal Tribe SD ("Coastal Tribe," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at thecoastaltribe.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

Coastal Tribe provides a platform for discovering, RSVPing to, and attending community events in San Diego. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Event RSVPs & Attendance

• RSVPs are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit attendance at any event.
• Event details (date, time, location) may change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of changes via email or SMS.
• By attending events, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully. We reserve the right to remove attendees who violate our community guidelines.

4. Photos & Media

Events may be photographed or recorded. By attending a Coastal Tribe event, you consent to the use of your likeness in photos, videos, and promotional materials for Coastal Tribe. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the event organizer.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as profile photos). By uploading content to the Site, you grant Coastal Tribe a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or event attendees
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Site without permission
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Coastal Tribe SD and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and events are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site or that events will proceed as planned.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coastal Tribe SD and its organizers, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or attendance at events. This includes but is not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coastal Tribe SD, its organizers, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, attendance at events, or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to the community.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in San Diego County, California.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
